A 58  year old mother died from asbestos-related peritoneal mesothelioma despite never working herself in an asbestos exposed workplace.

It is believed that she was exposed to asbestos fibres from her joiner father’s overalls as a young girl.  It was ruled by the coroner that Linda Sinnett had died of an industrial illness as a result.
